I have been working at University of Southern California full-time for less than a year

Pros

It is exciting to work for an organization that is growing and investing in infrastructure and research becoming a world-class and world-reknown university.

Cons

The IT infrastructure is a work in progress.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have heard it said that the university would be a better place if it used what is taught in the School of Business and communicated more value in its human capital.

I worked at University of Southern California

    Pros

University benefits (i.e. access to discounts, credit union), academic setting, prestige of working at a major university

    Cons

low pay rate in comparison to similar jobs at other universities/research facilities (I was working in research). Apparently working ANY amount of overtime was a big no-no, even though we only worked 7.5-hour days.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve and expand the DAR, allow the staff to work a full 8 hours.

    No opinion of CEO
