Those in charge don't listen to the students.

Stop spending more money than Harvard, we are a public school.

    I worked at University of Tennessee part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good location. Low living expense. People are friendly. The facility is great. Close to ORNL. Many collaboration opportunities.

    Cons

    Work load as a teaching assistant is high. there is really nothing much to complain as a graduate student.

    Pros

    the people are wonderful in university of Tennessee. Great facilities. Beautiful city - not too big, and not too small. Being very close to nature

    Cons

    University doesn't provide graduate housing, which is not inline with most top institutions. There is no-uniformity in graduate pay-scale either
