    Learn a lot! Practice your skill on daily bases and have supervisor close looking at what's going on.

    not much of outside life, stressed, worried for publication, graduation, etc.

    I love teaching and inspiring students. I have hundreds of smart and curious students. It is a pleasure to work at UT.

    Cons

    Very political. You need to be careful how you move and who you talk to. Very little intellectual freedom.
