I have been working at University of Texas at Arlington as a contractor

    Pros

You get paid to go to grad school. You will get lots of teaching experience if you want to go into a non-research teaching position.

    Cons

Workloads are much higher than at other colleges and universities. Your research will suffer. making research positions difficult to get.
