Pros

You get paid to go to grad school. You will get lots of teaching experience if you want to go into a non-research teaching position.

Cons

Workloads are much higher than at other colleges and universities. Your research will suffer. making research positions difficult to get.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Graduate students are not slaves.
