I have been working at University of Texas at Austin part-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Gaining research experience while still an undergraduate; connect with the companies participating in the cutting-edge projects in my industry; getting early insight about which topics actually interest me personally; working alongside some of the brightest minds in the entire field, worldwide; being credited with co-authorship of research publications - an excellent resume-builder. Also, my schedule couldn't be more flexible.

Cons

State legislation limits my pay scale, regardless of my performance.
