I worked at University of Texas at Austin part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

(This is for the Computer Science Department)

Given cost of living, their TA salaries are pretty good, and their medical benefits are awesome. MOST professors are very reasonable in their expectations of their graduate students, too.

    Cons

Some professors can make very unreasonable demands, but the department can definitely help you out if that is a problem.

    Recommends
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
