I worked at University of Texas at Austin

Pros

The University is a free place for research and engineering, a lot of resources to use and a lot of smart people to work with

Cons

Typically you won't get too much money and according to the level of the university, most people cannot achieve too much in their research, most likely a educational preparation for job market.

I worked at University of Texas at Austin part-time for less than a year

    Pros

To work for the greatest university in the world.

    Cons

I wasn't able to interact with the head project investigator (the professor) much, but instead worked with the graduate project manager on a daily basis.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Senior project investigator could interact with undergraduate team members a bit more.
