Overall positive experience mainly because of the people who work there. It could have been better though.

Research Assistant (Former Employee) Toronto, ON (Canada)

ProsHaving a permanent or full time position is ideal because you get better benefits than if you are simply on contract (as I was); people are very very nice; there was a positive and relaxed working environment; great possibilities to network in your field; the workplace (campus) is beautiful and there's access to all types of food; the area is well served by transportation

ConsBenefits for temporary or contract positions are not good; students who work at uoft generally get paid around minimum wage but are often expected to work a lot

Advice to Senior ManagementThe work-study program should be revised so that wages are adjusted according to the positon and responsibilities rather than having a flat rate for everyone.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
