Pros

Good union. Good benefits. Good people. Supportive people all around

Cons

Work load is a little too extreme. It is just hard to keep up with all the grading and feel like you are giving the students a fair shape

    Pros

Great benefits, good hours, great experience shaping younger minds, beautiful and diverse city, .

    Cons

May be required to sacrifice vacation time if marking over the Christmas holidays. Students can be very lazy in terms of expecting to be spoon-fed answers on assignments, and on how to study for tests.

    Advice to Management

Keep lines of communication open with Teaching Assistants, and make expectations clear.

  2. Assisted students in utilizing the laboratory facilities.

    Pros

Great learning experience. You learn by teaching. An absolutely amazing experience overall.

    Cons

The shifts are too short. You may not get enough hours in a week if your shift is covered by private bookings.

    Advice to Management

    Give more hours
