Pros

At school, stable, not heavy workload. get some knowledge about lab

Cons

It is paying at minimum hourly wage, and there are not many positions too.

    Pros

    Great people and atmosphere.
    Good work / study balance
    Decent pay for a student position

    Cons

    Not enough hours allotted for students who choose to take on more hours.
    Over hiring of staff often creates competition for promotion (tenure applies)

    Create more opportunities for students to start gaining experiences in fields relavent to study and or major.

    I worked at University of Toronto

    Pros

    - lots of helpful employees
    - interesting focus of work
    - overall an ok experience, but can find better opportunities

    Cons

    - lab technician uneducated and unfriendly, could not perform simple tasks; as a result the job of researchers becomes more difficult
    -work-study students are made to do menial tasks and not given interesting work; you can do much better in terms of a work-study position

    - screen your hires better
