I worked at University of Virginia full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Charlottesville is a great place to live in work. Surrounded by the Blue Ridge mountains its a beautiful campus. A rich tradition that goes back to 1819 when UVA was founded by our former President Thomas Jefferson. The University also offers a wide variety of course-work and majors.

    Cons

Not a lot of negitive to report about working at UVA. I guess the one downfall about Charlottesville is it's high cost of living.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would give yourself plenty of time to look for a place to live in Charlottesville. The closer you are to the campus the more expensive the rent/morgage.
