I have been working at University of Washington

Pros

The campus. Husky pass. UW Temp Staffing.

Cons

Disrespect to older employees. I would recommend against working at Harborview or in the School of Medicine. Supervisors who don't know how to supervise and managers who don't know how to manage. Non-supervisors and non-managers suffer as a result.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Show leadership. Don't play favorites. Be inclusive. Delegate. Show creativity. Promote fun, caring and thoughtfulness in your department. Set an example by showing respect to temporary employees.

I have been working at University of Washington

    Pros

For a college student, CSS offers the following advantages:
    - It is relatively easy to rise in the ranks if you can follow instructions.
    - Very flexible scheduling.
    - There are always different clients with different needs, which keeps the job exciting.

    Cons

    Some cons:
    - Work hours are inconsistent per week.
    - Sometimes the shifts end 1 or 2 am.
    - The shifts are short and not worthwhile initially. You receive longer shifts as you gain experience.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Overall, it is a good place to work at if you are interested in technical support and media technology. The pay is pretty good and it will never conflict with class schedule!
