I have been working at University of Washington full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

I find my co-workers are all considerate, professional and hardworking. I learn a lot from them and appreciate all the professional development opportunities as well as the good benefits and resources for work/life balance. I also appreciate all the work to reduce waste and the environmentally friendly culture that taking shape.

Cons

As with any large organization there are time consuming procedures and protocols to follow and take a long time to become proficient in.

Advice to Management

Continue working hard to provide professional development to employees.

It offers good disciplines in medicine and software engineering. The school too is famous for cherry blossoms and safe location.

    Cons

its business school on the other hand offers little for students, and seattle location as a whole is not a conducive environment for getting into an investment bank.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at University of Washington part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Getting a degree, hours are flexible

    Cons

Getting a degree doesn't necessarily mean that you're getting an education...

    Advice to Management

Preferably more emphasis on instruction towards structured thinking so that students will eventually be able to manage their own research, instead of simply managing graduate students' research for them.
