I worked at University of West Florida full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Nice sized university
    Small classes
    Beautiful setting

    Cons

    Leadership is terrible and short-sighted
Arrogance of some leaders is beyond ridiculous

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop focusing on golden boys; seriously take a look at morale of your academic departments. Need MUCH more accountability; there's a significant amount of nepotism going on. I lost my job because my chair wanted to give his wife (adjunct) more responsibilities.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
