I worked at University of York full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

My working hours were 9am - 5pm. Management were very helpful when i started and wanted to settle in. Also had the opportunity to get involved in various projects related to business development and to follow through.

    Cons

Salary could be better although given the cost of living in York is relatively lower than other cities it sufficed.

I have been working at University of York full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The department has good facilities and the people are friendly. Also within the department there is an early careers researchers forum that organises academic training events and social events for everyone in the department - this was great for meeting new people when I arrived. The University is very close to the city, and York is a lovely place.

    Cons

There aren't really many cons. Some of the PhD offices are small (3-4 people) but others are bigger (6-8 people) which some people may dislike.

    No opinion of CEO
