Masters of Biological Sciences student at the University of the Pacific

Teaching Assistant (Current Employee)
Stockton, CA

I have been working at University of the Pacific full-time for more than a year

ProsBeing a teaching assistant for the Biology Department was great experience. The pay for the amount of worked required for this position was more than generous. All of the professors are very helpful, nice and understand. Some of them will be dead honest with you so it is a good reality check. Monthly TGIFs allow the faulty, teaching assistants and other researchers a little time to relax and have fun. Free food is always a plus of course.

ConsIt is quite difficult to juggle between research, teaching and another job so most masters students end up living off of the stipend.

Advice to Senior ManagementOverall, the entire biology department (faculty and teaching assistants) work very well together.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
