No opinion of CEO

Pros

Smart investment in the right equipment for this technical-oriented employer...even if a bit on the late side at times.

Cons

Holds onto the wrong employees. Does not remove under performers, instead choosing to eliminate stand out (co-workers) for political reasons.

Advice to Management

Listen to middle management at the station level. They are the ones doing, and seeing first-hand, the actual work.

    Pros

Working in the Latino market is definitely engaging, and there is just an explosion of growth in content and audience. There are always many new projects happening, and it feels like the corporation genuinely cares about engaging its constituents for positive and worthwhile causes (voting, civic engagement, education, etc).

    Cons

It's a very corporate atmosphere, with very little socialization. For an organization that thrives on its Latinidad, it sure is stuffy! The executives are very inaccessible, and there is a lot of pressure to always be on call.
