Your performance is the key to your profitability with this company. From the onset, employees are given the training and tools necessary to create their own success. Qualifying Sales Reps are rewarded handsomely with bonuses including week-long Corporate Annual Sales Conferences, salary bonuses, and other performance based incentive programs. Reps are expected to, and their performance is accessed based on their meeting the sales goals prescribed to them by their Office Manager.
Cons
The shortcomings are few, but noteworthy. While Unum often promotes from within, the ceiling for most employees will be Sales Rep, and for numbered few per office, Senior Account Executive. Management positions are in short supply.
