Current Employee – been working at Urban Outfitters full-time for less than a year
Pros – -starting pay of $8.00 (.75 cents above my states minimum wage)
-you work hard and you immediately see how it pays off
-great coworkers & amazing management
-laid back environment
-no dress code
-AMAZING discount
Cons – -The only main con is that if you're closing, you have to stay 2-3 hours past closing time to make the store look pristine and perfect again. Once in a while, the store will do "perfect closes"- where the store is literally impeccable, and you could easily be there until 3 AM.
-Also, if you think that by working retail you won't have to get up early, you are sorely mistaken. Openers get there anywhere from 5 am-8 am, even though the store opens at 10.
Advice to Senior Management – Honestly.. can't think of how I could do it any better.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
