I have been working at Urban Outfitters

Pros

family atmosphere, really tight knit group of coworkers and management

Cons

it's retail so the pay isnt great or the hours for that matter

Advice to Management

embrace those who work hard and give them more hours over just hiring more dead weight

Constantly trying to motivate lazy employees that have been with the company to long.

    Pros

    Good pay and amazing benefits.

    Cons

Very clicky, need lots of tattoos, and tight jeans. Management sucks

    Advice to Management

Instead of hiring a puppet hire someone with the ability to make a decision.

    Pros

Meeting Cool People, the discount, being able to express your sense of style

    Cons

Poor Management, rude management, terrible hours (unless you're someones friend), "on-call" shifts, 5 hour shifts rather than full 8 hour shifts, shift cutting, high expectations with low pay, no real raises, no real chance to advance in company (unless you're someones friend), cliques, petty drama

    Advice to Management

Stop micromanaging, train your management properly on how to talk to employees, stop being so shallow, say thank you once in awhile, give full shifts.
