Pros

VF was a great place to work. They consistently valued, rewarded, and invested in function over form while providing meaningful career opportunities across functions and geographies for employees willing to earn them. VF communicates strategy and expectations clearly.

Cons

Nothing significant but it helps to have a mentor.

Advice to Management

Remember how you became one of the most successful NYSE companies.

    Pros

Great brands, international environment and potential opportunities for growth.

    Cons

No sense of belonging at employees, Snr Management is too distant/invisible. No clear communication on strategy. Lack of good HR department results in no development plans, carreer path and talent development.

    Advice to Management

    Communication, clear carreer path

    Pros

A dynamic fast paced environment, with a constant steady flow of work. Growth opportunities to learn and share information with others. International travel and great relationships within the organization that foster creativity and knowledge.

    Cons

RED TAPE should be mantra when starting a position within the many companies of VF. The initiation process of creating efficient procedures and supplying teams with reasonable resources is beyond pathetic. Outdated software programs and equipment and again more RED TAPE.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your middle management team. Stop outsourcing the talent you have already trained and kicked out, there are still positive ways to utilize these people.
