    Pros

    Employee discount, no other pros

    Cons

    Horrible management. Unprofessional atmosphere with extreme micromanagement. Wages were very low as a manager. The store manager had no college education and I have a bachelors degree. Raises were virtually non existent. No profit sharing or bonus. No value of education. High pressure for sales yet no compensation or commission. I quit and went to work for a large corporation where starting pay for an entry level job was more than they paid me as an asst manager.

    Advice to Management

    This company needs a complete overhaul. The HR dept is virtually non existent. Store managers can be extremely unprofessional ie. swearing, aggressive behavior

    Pros

    Alright benefit package. "Paid Time off" equal to most other companys. Adjustable Hours (unless on Salary pay Role) Very good communication from Store to Store. Ability to get parts a.s.a.p. Employee part discount. (for the most part)

    Cons

    Major lack of promotions, lack of trust towards employees. Spending company money in wrong places (i.e banners, signs, and balloons, when not one employee gets any sort of positive wage adjustment without any sort of apology). Little to none adequate in store training. Employees obligated to perform roles and positions far outside of their field (i.e mechanics washing shelves). little or no teamwork. Very hypocritical (Managers are told "run the store the way they want" when all decisions must be aproved by upper management and their management).Outragous price mark up percentage.

    Advice to Management

    Put the people first. Employ more competent employees. Be smater about where the money goes. Listen to employees more. Also listen to customers more. Cater to "the little guy" more. Stop bouncing benefit policies from company to company.
