“Good place to work”
Current Employee – been working at VMware
Pros – Great place to learn and work with technology. VMware has products/components across multiple areas - storage, network, compute/memory to name a few and also many new cloud related products - cloudfoundry for example.
Cons – Processes like reviews and promotions are becoming more rigid and bureaucratic as company is getting bigger. Also as the company gets bigger, it is harder to keep track of the various different products and understand how they all come together. It is also getting harder to change teams.
