I have been working at VMware full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Pay, bonuses, raises. Physical environment.

    Cons

Toxic culture. Backstabbing. Managers who haven't a clue how to manage. No leadership at the middle management level. They just gossip about each other and their employees. Too much power in a few hands. Over past 3 years it's gotten worse, the emperor is wearing no clothes but no one had a guts to stand up to the one or two "bullies" who call the shots and are driving products into the ditch.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Your hair is on fire. You must improve morale, management, and quality or your company will collapse. Call in a consultant to tell you what it means to run a company. Retrain or fire middle management.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
