“Good company to start your career”
I have been working at VMware full-time for more than a year
Pros – Compensation + Benefits. Nice campus. Smart + helpful people.
I work in the Networking & Security business unit and it has got pretty good work culture. You have a freedom of choosing projects that you want to work on.
Cons – Weak release management. Need more transparency with respect to decision making.
Advice to Senior Management – Stop doing periodic re-orgs, stop acquiring "cloud" start-ups and concentrate on core virtualization.
