I have been working at VMware full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Learn from your peers who created the field of x86 virtualization. Work on the cutting edge of the field.

    Cons

Gradual dilution and mediocrity creeping in as the company has grown and undergone major leadership change.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Re-ignite the passion and focus on the core of our company's reason for existence: x86 (and other architectures) virtualization, supporting all workloads. Clearly articulate the vision in a way that relates to the troops.
