I have been working at VMware full-time (less than an year)

Pros

Good benefits, good campus with nice gym, well stocked break rooms and overall if your new that is okay.

Cons

The company execs are very conceded and think they work for a 50B a year company not a 50M.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Remember we're not a 50B a company, we need to remember that.

I have been working at VMware full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

-Beautiful campus with an amazing workout facility
    -Early opportunities to grow
    -Salaries are very competitive

    Cons

    -Questionable management
-Too many management layers with little strategy and direction (especially with career growth)
-Very little trust in employees, management seems more concerned about politics and less about leading a team.
    -Bosses, not leaders

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop acting as a boss and start acting as a leader. We understand you brought in old colleagues, but they may not be the best and brightest employees. Start to innovate, think outside the box and don't be afraid of failure.
