“Good company to work for - But problems, problems, probmels....”
I worked at VMware
Pros – The best people I have ever worked with at any company.
Salary was good.
Never had a problem taking time off.
Cons – Lack of communication on issues.
Management lacks any real direction.
To many managers who are over worked.
Customer data is messed up and creates more work.
Upper management (Sr. Directors, VPs) think outsourcing is the answer.
Advice to Senior Management – Take a step back and re-evaluate the lower management, to much redundency.
Take a step back and re-evaluate middle management, to many directors that don't do anything.
Outsourcing is not the answer, clean up the data and issues will disappear.
Bring jobs back to the U.S. from India, your killing yourselves slowly.
