Vail resorts, good short term job

Reservations Agent (Current Employee) Keystone, CO

Prosski pass, fun co workers, great area to live in, benefits

Conspay is terrible, company doesn't care if you stay or go, everyone is replaceable.

No chance to move up, all the bosses are old ladies that have work in the same office for 20+ years. Promotions are there but you get a rise of about 25 cents and your workload will triple.

Advice to Senior Managementbuild long term, invest in your employees instead of just replacing the entire office every season. If you actually paid your year round employees a competitive amount they wouldn't be constantly leaving and you wouldn't be replacing them with fill in random people.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

    Vail Resort Labor Company

    General Manager (Current Employee)

I have been working at Vail Resorts full-time for more than 10 years

Pros: I cant really think of one... Cons: I have been in upper management at Vail for over a decade and each and every year they seem to take more and more form… Advice to Senior Management: You are a corporation that thinks they are bigger than they really are and Vail frequently… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company… More

Vail Resorts oversells the "experience of a lifetime" and underdelivers in every aspect along the way.

Ski and Car Valet, Private Club (Current Employee) Vail, CO

I have been working at Vail Resorts full-time for less than a year

Pros: 1) Ski pass. With this ski pass you will get 20% off all Vail Resorts owned businesses in the Vail/Beaver Creek area. some… Cons: long hours. poor pay. poor trainning. harrasment. aminities for employees. Communication on all levels. ECO bus system (operated by the town of Vail and not VR)… Advice to Senior Management: I believe upper managment just like the lowest level employee has a passion for something involving the mountain lifestyle. The love, if channeled properly… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
