Vancity – “21st Century is still a few years away”

Pros

Relaxing environment, relatively friendly to newcomers. Very happy with work-life balance being tilted towards the having a life side of things.

Cons

There is far too many "contractors" who just aren't into the whole Vancity ethos and have been there too long to actually add real value.
As a bank for the people, they are really not at the leading edge (or ANYWHERE near) the front half of innovation. In terms of learning about finance or banking, I'd suggest going elsewhere, if you want safe, dependable then Vancity is your answer.
