I have been working at Vanderbilt University full-time

    Pros

Vanderbilt is located in the vibrant city of Nashville, Tennessee and makes an effort to collaborate with the local community. It sponsors a number of speakers, artists, and performing event that are open to staff, students and the public. It is also located next to a great hospital!

    Cons

Students are overly concerned with greek life and partying. They seem politically apathetic. The university fosters a corporate hotel-like atmosphere rather than an academic one.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

All students should be required to study abroad in order to become less sheltered.
