Pros

Good events and morale boosters. Training is good and seminars are good.

Cons

Good ole boy network. Go with the flow and don't introduce more ideas or expect to be fired. Middle management tells lower employee's that issues are the mgr's responsibility but the blame for the responsibility failure falls on the employee.

Don't portray yourself as different than a redneck or as sophisticated. This will get you ridiculed, as the mental capacity for even mgmt is childish.

Advice to Senior Management

Don't hack off employee's at the knee's. Promote growth from within. Technology should be accepted in all divisions.
