I have been working at Vanguard full-time

Pros

Allows a great family life, great people to work with, learn a lot about product offerings. Provide training though VG university.

Cons

Low salary, must climb to the top even with great skills, benefits including health care have dropped meaning they have done away with PPO plan. The AHF will cost about 2500 out of pocket expense for individual and close to 4k for a family.

I have been working at Vanguard full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Co-workers are great, work life balance really good, start off with plenty of time off, provide excellent benefits: health and continuing education. Can help with jump starting career

    Cons

Poor pay - a known fact, takes years to move up within company, glass cleaning within co for many roles, average tenure is approximately 10 yrs., very slow adopters of new technology, no incentive to produce internal change.

    Advice to Management

    Change out old "tenured" managers.
