    I worked at Vans

    Pros

I worked at Vans for the discount on their products since I like their shoes.
I also worked with great co-workers that made the experience better.

    Cons

I was not offered enough hours at first, but as you work there longer they will offer you more. I went through two supervisors, the first one was really bad and I did not like him but the second one was great.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure you have good customer service skills, are interested in sales because those are pretty much the only skills you will need.

-Listen to Satanic MUSIC while working

    Cons

Too much work and little pay

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Here's a tip, for all the Van's Retail upper management.... Actually work and do your job then call once a week and read e-mails to people stop verbally demoralizing and try to help out those beneath you instead of asking for unrealistic tasks to get done with a 2% cut every week of $10,000 a week to pay high school kids... Pay people more money and maybe they will work harder... There's a thought? Not too difficult is it?
