    Pros

    - T-Pass subsidy
    - Fresh fruit on Mondays
    - Ability to join IATAN

If you can stay out of the meetings, particularly the off-sites (held once a month depending on where the CEO wants to sail his boat) you might be able to last here. Otherwise, be prepared to be denegrated, yelled at, called names in almost every meeting by the CEO.Take note that the people who have raved about the benefits are the ones in Sales.

    Cons

    - "Managers should not be nice"
    - The CEO "knows everything about this business" so we can't tell him anything
    - CEO wants company to be more electronic and web based, but won't expand department from just 5 people
    - People with no marketing or design experience are dictating how things look in the catalogs and on the web

Our 401(k) match was only $1500 until last month, it's now $4500. Health Insurance premiums are high. The people who generate the income, i.e. marketing, don't get the recognition or the benefits that the sales folks do. If it wasn't for the marketing department the phones wouldn't be ringing. People in Finance and Circulation are regularly yelled and screamed at and held responsible for things that they can't control. I had to fight to get a long-term employee up to the salary of new hires or lose her.

HR and Social Media have been putting fake positives on this site.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Grow some will you? He's one person and your either going to quit or get fired at some point so why not make a difference and stand up to the man? Stop being "yes" people. Stop saying, "Well Hank wants..." when you know it doesn't make any sense.
