    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Vantiv full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Convenient office location. Decent facilities - security, cafe, break areas. Benefits begin on day 1. Decent tuition reimbursement and matched 401k. Friendly collection of base level employees. Free coffee/tea.

    Cons

Constantly expanding outsourcing initiatives. Terrible pay range. Employee segregation - If you work on the 2nd floor, you will feel like a second-class citizen to those who work on floors 1, 3, and 4. Lack of employee inclusion - IE: hosts town hall meetings where only one representative from certain departments are invited, a total sham. Firm prefers to hire externally, rather than developing internal talent or promoting from within. Lackluster health insurance - Anthem BCBS Bad HR department. Bad parking.

    Advice to Management

Stop the outsourcing. It's depressing to see departments disappearing and the airport shuttles full of Indian efficiency experts and conversion specialists constantly coming and going. Commit yourselves to caring for your employees and their personal development, rather than treating existing employees as those already indentured and unworthy of professional improvement or advancement. Learn to appreciate those that compose your workforce.

I worked at Vantiv full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    - Decent schedule (dependent on position) - Good Location - New headquarters is much better than the office in Madisonville. - Seasoned workers but clueless management.

    Cons

    - One of the worst HR departments you will EVER come across - Emphasizes on hiring from the outside to minimize labor cost (regardless of qualifications). Great for new hires, awful for advancement in the company. - Heavy focus on outsourcing labor - They will be losing at least half of their issuer (credit/debit) portfolio in around 2 years due to the outsourcing. Small credit unions and FIs will not deal well with the outsourcing... which they will. - Shady management practices - Management notified layoffs the week of Thanksgiving. Classy huh? - Insulting salaries and raises

    Advice to Management

Hire from within and treat your workers with respect.
