Other in charges just expected you to suck it up and do things on your own without any interference or support.

Advice to Senior Management

Management should make training/ orientation more formal with regard to basic strategies. Sure we all have an accounting degree, however most new staff don't have a clue as to actual procedures which need to be performed.
