The company is well organized, and they reward hard work AND give you a lot of free knives!

Pros

Free knives, great incentives and rewards, fantastic retreats that the company pays for, great managers/training. The company has a lot of great opportunities to succeed and it is isn't a difficult sale at all. The knives sell themselves so you just need to make the appointments.

Cons

Limited amount of earning potential, takes time to increase commission, on your own once trained. The job can get pretty tedious and monotonous and you will want to do something different after a few months, but it is a great experience and you make quick cash. Plus, it's a good resume builder.

Advice to Management

Pay higher commission to reps

    Pros

Not much. This is classic multi-level marketing.

    Cons

I'm not aware of many sales organizations that require employees to purchase the products for demonstration.

    Advice to Management

Hire real educated people. Don't target cheesy sales people who are just desperate for money. The internet has made your sales channel more obsolete. Develop a clearer strategy than simply recruiting new people to touch more people for more product interviews.

  2. Great job for someone who wants to start working and gain a new experience.
