    - Decent benefits, hours, overall nice people to work with.
    - A somewhat laid-back enviornment for a law firm.

    Cons

    - Training was spotty
    - General communication could've been better.
    - Some of the senior attorneys play favorites

    Pros

    -Support staff and most co-workers provided positive environement
    -Most senior level Shareholders/Practice Group Leaders/Board of Directors were easy to work with/friendly

    Cons

    -No training
    -Poor document retention and technology, unorganized communication between departments
    -Bad senior leadership in key departments, including HR - if you have an issue with a manager, you are wise not to go go to HR, as they will not support, listen or investigate accusations
    -Negative feedback on a regular basis
    -Poor team moral and leadership due to intimidation/interactions with Departmental Director/Human Resources

    Advice to Management

    To the HR Dept. and Shareholders - Sometimes things are not always as they seem. High turnover in Business Development since senior management has changed within the past two years should be an indication. I would suggest contacting the Shareholders that this support staff work with directly with in order to evaluate performance, not necessarily this Director and managers in the department. I'd encourage HR to look deeper into situations regarding their employees and speak with them directly and privately rather than jumping to conclusions. To anyone interviewing for positions in BD, be careful.
