Pros

It's laid back but allows for great performance.
Casual dress code.
Very innovative in current downed economy in regards to travel, hospitality, and entertainment packaging.
Heavy java based development team with very top of the line coders.
Company cut back bonuses even for execs to prevent layoffs.

Cons

Las Vegas area in general is in a slump as much or more than anywhere else and still is a somewhat one dimensional market, so being here, not so much at Vegas.com.
Bonuses were removed, no more 401 matching, some other benefits cut back on which is okay to considering being employed versus non-employed.
Currently no advancement opportunities.

Advice to Senior Management

If you are have a friend at the company that isn't pulling their weight, don't let them slide because it's your friend and as a friend tell them to get their stuff together and pull their weight like others who have no connections other than their great worth ethic.
