Vera Wang Bridal is a better place to work. This review is targeted for Vera Wang Maids on Madison Salon. Basically, there aren't many good reasons to work at Maids on Madison unless you like to be berated and run ragged.

Cons

Hours, pay, rapid turnover rate, non-existent leadership from management, no advancement opportunities; the list goes on and on. Colleagues are generally incompetent, classless, vicious and unwilling to advance their knowledge for the greater good of the company

Advice to Senior Management

Senior management needs to be confident and secure enough to allow their far and few between competent employees to run things when demonstrating competency. They also need to be present on the selling floor at all times and give greater support and guidance. They need to stop gossiping about employees to other employees behind their backs. Additionally, they need to stop cheating employees out of their hours on their paychecks and their commission checks. Cheapest company around and you never get to eat lunch. Ever.
