Verigy – “Verigy is in a death spiral placing little to no emphasis on their customer base, employees, or investment in R&D.”

Pros

I joined Agilent in 2000 just after the HP spun off the test business to Agilent. Agilent was a Great company to work for with opportunities for advancement and recognition for once hard work. However in 2006 when Agilent spun off the Semiconductor Test business to Verigy the company’s business dynamics changed dramatically. Customer and employee focus was gone as well as investing in tomorrow.

Cons

Verigy is a small company with no real focus on investing in its future or employees. They have a very limited focus on their major customers with little to no focus on satisfying smaller customer base.

Advice to Senior Management

Too much focus on the short term results with no focus on long term growth objectives.
