I have been working at Verizon full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Company has recently focused on improved operations through implementation of Lean Six Sigma program, supported at the executive level, and conveyed as a priority throughout departments. Several hundred staff have completed extensive training and are now active Black Belts focused on projects in multiple areas.

    Cons

Some departments and managers have been reluctant to support Lean Six Sigma efforts. There is some suspicion of the activity and skepticism about its success.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep focusing on Lean Six Sigma for its cost savings and efficiency benefits. The rewards are even greater in the long term.

I have been working at Verizon full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Interesting big fortune 500 customers, working at C-Level

    Cons

Internal processes are very slow, silo like organisations, internal networking was most valuable to get things done and achieve ...(in the interest of customers)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop reorganising every 3-6 months....., put in place ONE working org structure, a matrix org which works.
