I have been working at Verizon full-time (less than an year)

Pros

Great benefits. Good work environment. Flexibility to work in environment which you prefer. Good training resources. Decent Pay Package. Flexibility in work hours.

Cons

You will have to smart enough to negotiate on your pay package. although a nice work environment, medium of communication used in not english.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Could work better on doing the reviews, so that people get what they deserve.

    Not for the adventurous - the job can be mundane, Verizon isn't up for a lot of excitement.

    Pros

    Great benefits (health, 401k, bonuses, telecommute, tuition assistance). Discount on Verizon services. Job advancement if you are connected.

    Cons

    Lack of job advancement (regardless of experience/education) depending on location. Quarterly layoffs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Evaluate job needs with resources so that when you trim the fat, you don't slice into the meat.
