Pros: 1. New York Telephone was a great company to work for before they merged and became Bell Atlantic which is now Verizon. 2. If you… Cons: 1. The company still goes by the "good old boys" club. If you don't have a "godfather" in the company, you'll never get promoted no… Advice to Senior Management: 1. Verizon's workforce isn't diverse. It's too caucasian at the VP level. Hispanics, African American and asian probably represent less than 1% at the VP… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
