I have been working at Verizon full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Respect for diversity and generous 401k matching and company matched contribution to non-profit of your own choosing

    Cons

You get to move up the corporate ladder not only because of your own capability but you need strong allies and in the right clique of senior management

    Advice to Management

I worked at Verizon full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I did recieve my Pension as a Lump Sum before it falls below 85% of funding, I don't see Verizon being able to contuine fully fund it's Pension Program

    Cons

I believe it would have been more benefical to Verizon if I had been re-evauated after my RFI notice for placement in other postions that Verizon is hiring from the street for. The loss of experience and training is now going to ther competition.

    Advice to Management

Poor Management of company resources, not retasking of current employees before removing them from the payroll.
