    Pros

Verizon is almost invariably willing to work with you to help you balance work-life issues so you can be a productive member of the Verizon team.

    Cons

When it comes to equipment and access, the answer seems to be one size fits all, even when that makes no sense. IT-related positions especially are given the same laptop that people who only need to access email and the web are given. They are wholly inadequate to the needs. It's like you have to fight the company you work for in order to get equipment and access to resources so you can do the job you were hired to do.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Ask your teams what they need to do their jobs. If that doesn't match what IT is giving them, then change IT.
