    Pros

    Pay rates, medical, dental, retirement

    Cons

Schedules, mandatory overtime, belittling attitudes, working every holiday

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like adults and professionals instead of pretending its a day care. There are some great ideas in there but none were ever given a chance

    Pros

Verizon has: much resources, known brand, good training, large customer base, skilled employees, reliable products, honest advertising, large asset base, diversified technologies

    Cons

Verizon suffers from: legacy systems that are outdated and problematic; customer service challenges; overpaid union workers; not hiring younger, less experienced staff; bureaucracy

    Advice to Management

Middle management stunts employee and company growth. Look deeper at qualifications and whether they are building teams and developing employees.
