    Pros

Good benefits and will work with you for scheduling.

I worked at Verizon full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Large organization with large vendor relationships. Lots of locations.

    Cons

Poor management at the top level. Frequent layoffs, outsourcing to overseas locations which is reducing customer service. The company is more focused on cost savings due than anything else due to rapid lowering customer prices. The wireless division is the only one that is not suffering from losses.

    Advice to Management

Figure out a way to retain good engineers in the US.
